More material swatches I did for a module called Creative Techiniques, where we had to pick a swatch from the previous project to expand upon, later creating a headpiece from the expanded swatches.

Concept Write-up

I've always been fascinated by how water can have different interpretations based on each person sees it. Base on that concept, I decided to relate it to emotions for this exploration.

Moodboard

Mainly consisting of different states of water transitioning from one another. Colours that represent the different emotions also transition from one another, giving a range of emotions with a range of forms.

Material and Colour Board

I wanted to incorporate alot of beads and unconventional material to experiment with what I can do to form water. With the help of shiny and translucent fabric, I also wanted to use different assortment of beads to enhance the aesthetics of the textile manipulation techniques I planned to use. It was also a way to emphasise the colour without relying on colouring the fabric as much.
