This is a project for a module called Studio Project 1. In it, I had to choose a brand that matches our chosen subculture (in the previous assignment) to curate a product line.

The era of Hip-hop I explored was 90s Hip-hop. I decided to focus on denim and baggier silhouettes, with more graphical elements such as graffiti.

Material and Colour Board

The colours I focused on were chosen to complement the denim I used. The denim and ties I used were also upcycled.

Final Product

The photoshoot was inspired by the casual settings Teddy Fresh photoshoots have. The saturation was lowered to highlight the product more, and paper and noise effects were added to make the photos look more 'old school'.

I thought that 'spray painting' the logo on the wall, while showcasing the leg warmers would be a creative introduction to the photoshoot.

This shot was a way to show how the detachable pant chains can be worn. the photo carousel on the side was edited and inspired by 90s product commercials.
