A project I did for a module called Fashion Presentation Techniques, where I had to choose a sub-culture and use our image manipulation skills to develop a fashion collection and accessory range.

Moodboard

I decided to focus on neon colours from this sub-culture, incorporating artificial body parts and futuristic graphics to the board.

Moodboard Collages

With elements from the moodboard, the collages were created to visualise possible designs for the collection. Not only did I use artificial body parts and neon colours, but also incorporated wires and light strips/elements.

Material and Colour Board

I narrowed the colours down to 5 main neon colours, with fabrics that shift in colour such as Organza to add to the futuristic look.

Design Board

The fully rendered collection was inspired by video game character designs, with the background mimicking a 'Character Select' screen.

Accessory Range

Elements of the Accessories were inspired by the fashion collection, with parts such as the neon lights, and the metallic pieces. Continuing the video game concept, the background of these were designed to mimic a game's loading screen.
